Who we are
MedWellPlus.com (the “Site”) is operated by [LEGAL BUSINESS NAME] (“MedWell Plus,” “we,” “us” or “our”), based in [Business address]. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to the Site, our online store, our waitlists and our customer support.

- To verify eligibility for certain products and to meet our legal obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. [Nick and attorney to confirm — also confirm whether any advertising pixels count as “sharing” under state law.]
We share information only as needed to run our business:
- Service providers who work on our behalf — website hosting [e.g. Hostinger], payment processing [processor name], shipping carriers, email delivery [e.g. Mailchimp], and analytics [e.g. Google Analytics]. They may use your information only to provide their services to us.
- Legal reasons — when required by law, court order or government request, or to protect our rights, customers or the public.
- Business transfers — if MedWell Plus is involved in a merger, sale or reorganization, information may transfer as part of that transaction.
- With your consent — in any other case where you have asked us to share it.
Cookies and tracking
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use:
- Essential cookies — needed for the cart, checkout, login and security. The Site can’t work properly without them.
- Analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors use the Site [list tools].
- Marketing cookies — used to measure or personalize ads [list tools, or remove this line if none are used].
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the Site may stop working. [If a cookie banner is installed: You can change your choices anytime using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.] [Attorney to confirm: we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as an opt-out where required.]
Email marketing and waitlists
If you join our newsletter or a waitlist (such as Telehealth or the MedWell App), we’ll use your email to send updates about that topic and related MedWell Plus news. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time.
Health information and telehealth
Our online store does not ask for medical or health information, and we ask that you do not send health details through our contact forms or email.
When our telehealth service launches, it will be provided by licensed healthcare providers on a separate platform with its own privacy notice. Health information collected through telehealth will be handled under that notice and applicable health-privacy laws [e.g. HIPAA, where it applies — attorney to confirm].
Research Division purchases
If you purchase from our Research Division (when available), we may collect additional information to confirm your eligibility — for example, your age, profession or institution. We use this only to verify eligibility, process your order and meet our legal obligations.
How we protect your information
- The Site uses an encrypted (SSL/TLS) connection.
- Payments are processed by a PCI-compliant payment provider — we never see or store full card numbers.
- Access to personal information is limited to people and services that need it.
- Account passwords are stored in encrypted (hashed) form.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a data breach where the law requires.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy — for example, order records for [X years] for tax and accounting purposes, and marketing information until you unsubscribe. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct information that is inaccurate;
- Delete your personal information;
- Get a copy of your information in a portable format;
- Opt out of marketing emails, and of the sale, sharing or targeted-advertising use of your information where applicable;
- Appeal our decision if we decline your request.
To make a request, email SUPPORT-EMAIL or use our contact form. We’ll verify your identity before acting, and respond within the time the law requires. We will never treat you differently for exercising your rights.
State privacy notices
Residents of certain states — including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas and others with consumer privacy laws — have the rights described above. [Attorney to add any state-specific disclosures required, such as California’s categories of personal information collected, sources, purposes and retention periods.]
You can use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may ask for proof that the agent is authorized.
Children’s privacy
The Site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links
The Site may link to other websites and services we don’t control. Their privacy practices are their own, so please review their policies before sharing information with them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and the “Last updated” date at the top will be revised. If changes are significant, we’ll let you know — for example, by email or a notice on the Site.
